Let me begin with the Vancouver homestay.
There are six people in the family：
Homemom Deirdea, homedad Steve, 3 sons, Max, Mason, Owen and one Philippino nanny, Dona.
They are 9-year-old Max and Dona
Compared with his younger brothers, Max is gentle, reasonable and wise.
He is also the only one who can play the computer and ride a bike well.
His special interest is Logo and Star Wars.
He can also write a story and make up a scene with the Logo.
He told me he wanted to write a fan mail to the director George Lucas.
This boy is cool, for he knows what he wants and he has alreay found a lifelong interest, which is unbelievable to me.
Dona is the person I talked with the most.
She is so helpful in giving me so much information about the places, and the best bargin in Vancouver.
I respect her in that she could live alone in Canada without her husband, back in the Philippines, by her side.
This is 6-year-old Mason.
Mason is smart though sometimes he couldn't control his temper well.
De took him to a counselling class, hoping to help Mason deal with the emotion problem better.
Mason likes to eat ice cream. He also had that for dessert.
And this is Owen, who is only 4 years old.
Just like any 4-year-old boy, Owen is such an innocent boy.
His expertise is to beg, and he always succeeded.
His favorite dessert is brownin.
This is me, Mason, Owen and Sponge Bob on TV.
You might feel strange why I didn't post Steve's photo.
Well, that's because he wasn't home then.
De told me that Steve's mom was is a serious condition and he had flown to Australia when I arrived there.
It's also a pity that I didn't have a picture with me and the host family in it.
I couldn't remember why I didn't do it.
Time just flew away before I made a request.
And this is Jennifer and me.
Jennifer is the soul of Vanwest. (Hope you guys understand what I'm talking about.)
She arranges the clsses, schedules, the homestays and everything.
Without her support and effort, I don't think the study tour would be so safe and successful.
